These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of SMSMaster.lk's website, dashboard, API, and SMS gateway services. Please read them carefully before using the Service.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you (whether an individual or a business, "you", "your", or "Customer") and SMSMaster.lk ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of our website, dashboard, SMS gateway, and API (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing our API, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
To use SMSMaster.lk you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract, and register a valid business or individual account with accurate information.
SMSMaster.lk provides a platform for sending bulk marketing, transactional, and OTP SMS messages to recipients in Sri Lanka and, where supported, internationally, via a web dashboard and a REST API.
We route messages through third-party telecom operators and aggregators. While we work to ensure reliable delivery, message delivery, delivery speed, and delivery reports depend on factors outside our control, including recipient carriers, device status, and network conditions. We do not guarantee delivery of any individual message.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including Sri Lanka's Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRCSL) regulations. You must not use the Service to send messages that:
Accounts found sending spam, phishing, or fraudulent OTP traffic may be suspended immediately without prior notice, and reported to relevant authorities where required.
Custom alphanumeric Sender IDs are subject to review and approval, and may require supporting business documentation. Approved Sender IDs remain your responsibility — you must not use an approved Sender ID for purposes other than those it was approved for, or share it with unrelated third parties.
We reserve the right to reject, suspend, or revoke a Sender ID at any time if it is misused, found to violate telecom regulations, or is the subject of complaints.
If you access the Service via our API, you agree to use your API keys securely and in accordance with our developer documentation. You must not expose API keys in client-side code, public repositories, or any other publicly accessible location.
We may apply reasonable rate limits to API usage to protect platform stability, and may suspend API access that we determine, in good faith, is abusive or harmful to the Service or other customers.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by SMSMaster.lk and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
You retain all rights to the content and Campaign Data you send through the Service. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, fail to pay outstanding fees, or if required to do so by a telecom regulator or law enforcement authority.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of unused SMS credits except as required by law or stated in our Refund Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every message will be delivered.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SMSMaster.lk and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SMSMaster.lk, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your Campaign Data, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service or legal requirements. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
